I am currently drowning in debt and i need a fast solution?

Question by Latoya: I am currently drowning in debt and i need a fast solution?
I currently have several payday loans that I owe money to. Im drowning in debt, and I need at least 5,000-6,000 dollars to get me back on track. Borrowing from family is not an option. I don’t have a very high credit score because of the amount in student loans that I owe. Does anyone have any suggestions. Also credit counciling services take too long and have high payments.

can u sell something? I mean if you live in a place where you can use public transportation, then sell your car. Wat about friends? or you could pick up another job and just work your butt off to pay it off. 5k isn’t that bad of debt comparatively speaking.

  1. You need to find a second job. You can’t use a credit counselor, you can’t file bankruptcy, you can sell personal belongings and move back home with parents.

  2. you’re joking, aren’t you? You’re in debt and you want other people to pay your bills when you know how long it will take to catch up. I have no idea what you’re saying when you state: “credit counseling services take too long and have high payments”…what???? CredAbility is free, it’s a government program, and you make the high payments because YOU are in debt, so get two jobs and get some income to pay off those debts. Sure they are going to take long, next time hopefully you won’t spend so fast. Never, never, never use payday loans because that’s exactly what they do, make you drown in debt. If you can’t afford to buy something then don’t buy it. Plan ahead, make yourself a monthly budget and learn how to say “no”. When you keep borrowing from tomorrow and tomorrow comes then you have to borrow from your following tomorrow…see? now you know it’s bad circular motion. If you don’t earn the money then you can’t spend it. Since we don’t know all of your story and all of the figures we can’t really spell out anything for you to try except say you need a budget and 2 jobs.
